Our custom mouse monoclonal antibody service adopts the hybridoma (fusion) technology to produce highly specific monoclonal antibodies.
Antibody-secreting B cells are immortalized by fusing B lymphocytes and myeloma cells. The hybridoma cell line secreting the monoclonal antibody is then selected using limited dilution cloning. Our clone screening process is highly customizable – various screening assays can be incorporated to better suit your project goals.
Once the final clones are selected, we have three different methods for large-scale antibody production, including in vitro (cell culture), in vivo (ascites)and recombinant expression (hybridoma sequencing + antibody expression).
